Drawing diagrams for plants, especially root-based vegetables, needn't exist dull and boring. In fact, they tin make quite a colorful and interesting piece of work of fine art. (Who needs 1 more boring blackness and white sheet to characterization?)

This tutorial shows students how to draw some vegetables pretty realistically (including the worms!) but keeps those dissimilar leaves every bit manageable as possible also.

Materials for Vegetables Cartoon

  • Eraser. Big ones you tin can hold in your paw do a much better job than simply the pencil tips.
  • Black Sharpie Mark. These fine betoken permanent marker pens brand nice black outlines, take a good tip for coloring, and never drain when they go wet. Utilize them with good ventilation and add together extra paper underneath to protect your tables.
  • Prang Crayons. These are a bit softer than other crayons and then they sometimes look like oil pastels. They also have a some prissy brown shades that Crayola does not have unless you buy their larger boxes.
  • Crayola Crayons. The reliable make that always works well. The 24 pack has some of my favorite gold orange and yellow colors that seem a bit richer and warmer than the ones Prang has.
